Privacy Policy

What I collect

Nothing. Recordvert has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send your email, files, file names or any information about you to me or to anyone else.

Where your data stays

The mailboxes you add and the PDFs Recordvert makes stay on your Mac. The app only reads the files and folders you choose, and only writes to the output folder you choose. A small log file on your Mac records times, counts and errors, never email text. It is only shared if you choose to email it to me.

Internet use

Recordvert works offline. The only time it uses the internet is the optional setting "Load pictures from the internet", which is off by default. When you turn it on, the app downloads images that an email refers to, the same way a mail app does, so the PDF looks like the original. Those requests go to whoever hosts the image, not to me.

Third parties

I use no third-party services inside the app. Purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

Children

Recordvert is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this ever changes, I will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
